Basically I got me one of these: www.amazon.co.uk/Genius-Wirele…

I hate the things guts. Literally if it had guts I would have disemboweled it by now.

I have to ask, if you use an actual tablet does the PC know that you've moved the pen somewhere without you having to have the thing pressed down constantly?

That is my problem, and I was going to buy a 19" LCD to have on my lap while i used it, alas the IR does not function on LCD screen D:

So right now, every inch of my being is screaming at me for even having tried to go fully digital. I suspect right now paper is plotting its revenge on me and before long I will be cut to shreds, folded and mailed to various people in my town.

If someone could explain to me a bit better how it's actually done, then I'd be eternaly grateful. Like i said, I just cant stand the idea that, when i move the pen off the surface, it doesnt move to where I put it next. Say for example, Im going over a traditional picture, unless it NEVER take the pen off the page it will constantly overlap itself onscreen!.

And I dont feel like my work is going to grow much further online, I feel that traditional bounds (for me) are limiting me against competing with some of the greater artists of DA!
